By the hour

A vehicle and chauffeur held for your day

A car that stays with you between stops, for days where the itinerary is not final until it happens.

Some days cannot be booked as a series of separate trips. Meetings run long, a stop gets added, and the value of the service is simply that the car is there. Hourly bookings hold a vehicle and chauffeur for a block of time and let the day unfold.

  • One chauffeur and one vehicle for the booked block
  • Itinerary changes handled in the car, not through a call centre
  • Minimum booking durations stated on the quote before you confirm
  • Extensions accommodated where the chauffeur’s schedule allows

When hourly is the right choice

Hourly suits days with three or more stops, itineraries still moving on the morning of travel, site visits, property tours, and any schedule where waiting between stops is likely. If your day is two fixed transfers, point-to-point is usually better value and we will say so.

How the block works

The block begins at the agreed pickup time and runs continuously, including waiting time, until release. Minimums, overtime increments and any garage or repositioning time are set out on the quote. There are no charges on the invoice that were not on the quote.

As-directed days

On an as-directed booking the chauffeur takes direction from the passenger through the day rather than following a fixed itinerary. It is the standard arrangement for executive days, media tours and any schedule where the next stop is decided in the car.
