About

A car service judged on the things that go wrong

Anyone can deliver a good trip when nothing happens. The measure of a chauffeured service is what it does when the flight slips, the meeting overruns or the plan changes at seven in the morning.

DC Capital Luxe Black Car Service provides chauffeured ground transportation across Northern Virginia · Washington, DC · Maryland. The work is airport transfers, corporate travel, private aviation connections, hourly service and group movements — the ordinary requirements of people whose time is genuinely constrained.

We have built the service around three commitments that are easy to state and harder to keep: a named chauffeur assigned to every reservation before travel day; a written quote that becomes the invoice without amendment; and a plan that follows the flight rather than the clock.

Equally, we are explicit about what we do not control. Ramp access is granted by airports and fixed-base operators. Traffic is traffic. Where a promise is not ours to make, we say so at the point of booking rather than at the point of failure.

Principles

What we hold ourselves to

One chauffeur, assigned in advance

Reservations are assigned to a named chauffeur before travel day, not released to whoever is nearest. You know who is arriving, and so do we.

The quote is the invoice

Wait time, tolls, parking, gratuity policy and any minimum are stated on the quote before you confirm. Nothing appears afterwards that was not agreed in advance.

Planned against the flight, not the clock

Airport and private aviation work is scheduled from live flight information and operator contact, so a delay changes the plan rather than costing you the car.

Discretion as a requirement

Passengers, destinations and conversations stay in the vehicle. For legal, government-adjacent and executive clients this is a condition of the work, not a courtesy.

Safety, professionalism and reliability

The standards behind the service

Described plainly enough that you can hold us to them, and specific enough to be worth holding us to.

Chauffeurs, not drivers

A chauffeur is assigned to your reservation and briefed on it before travel day — the route, the timing logic, the passenger’s preferences and anything specific to the journey. They arrive early, dressed for the work, and they know where they are going before they set off.

  • Assigned per reservation rather than dispatched from a queue
  • Briefed on the journey before travel day
  • Professional attire as standard, without exception
  • Trained to stay with the passenger’s schedule, not their own

Vehicles prepared, not just available

Every vehicle is checked inside and out before a reservation. That means mechanical condition, cleanliness, fuel, and the small things a passenger notices immediately — the state of the rear cabin, the temperature, the water.

  • Condition checked before every reservation, not on a schedule
  • Non-smoking vehicles without exception
  • Vehicle details sent to the passenger before pickup
  • A replacement plan for the reservation if a vehicle is withdrawn

Reliability designed in, not promised

On-time arrival is a planning outcome, not a slogan. Pickup times are worked backwards from the actual arrival requirement, buffered for the corridor and the time of day, and stated with the reasoning attached so you can challenge them before travel rather than after.

  • Pickup times proposed with the reasoning shown
  • Flight-monitored arrivals for airport and FBO work
  • A single contact who can actually change a booking in progress
  • Bookings declined rather than accepted when we cannot staff them

Discretion and data handling

Passenger names, destinations and itineraries are shared inside our operation only with the people who need them to run the journey. Journey details are used to deliver the service and are not sold or shared for marketing.

  • Itinerary details shared on a need-to-know basis internally
  • Chauffeurs do not discuss passengers or destinations
  • No sale or marketing use of journey data
  • Confidentiality undertakings reviewed on request at account setup

What we will not claim

  • We do not guarantee ramp access, escorts or airport credentials — those are granted by the airport operator and the FBO, on their terms.
  • We do not publish prices we cannot honour. Every journey is quoted individually until live pricing is connected.
  • We do not accept a booking we cannot staff. If the vehicle or chauffeur is not available, we say so rather than subcontract without telling you.
  • We do not provide executive protection, armed personnel or armoured vehicles, and we will not subcontract a capability we do not hold.
Compliance

Licensing and insurance

Specific licensing, operating authority and insurance certificates are available on request during account setup or before a first reservation. We publish a credential here only once it can be verified against the issuing authority.

Next step

Tell us the journey. We will send a written quote.

Every quote states the vehicle class, the timing logic and the full price before you confirm anything.
