The District itself: the downtown business core, the Capitol complex and the federal campus, the embassy district along Massachusetts Avenue, and the residential neighbourhoods north and west of them.
The Maryland side of the region: Montgomery and Prince George’s counties immediately north and east of the District, and the corridor running up toward Baltimore and out to Annapolis.
