Beyond the beltway

City to city, door to door

Chauffeured intercity journeys along the Northeast corridor and to regional destinations, quoted individually.

For some journeys the car is simply better than the alternative: no security line, no gate change, a working environment for the whole trip and one door-to-door timeline. City-to-city work is quoted per journey because distance, timing, tolls and return positioning all vary.

  • Door-to-door timing with no terminal overhead
  • A working cabin for the length of the journey
  • Journeys quoted individually with every component itemised
  • Return positioning and overnight requirements stated up front

Corridor journeys

Baltimore, Annapolis, Richmond, Philadelphia, New York and points between are routine requests. We plan realistic timings including the corridor’s known pinch points, and we will tell you when a train genuinely beats the car.

How city-to-city is quoted

Quotes itemise the journey, waiting time, tolls, and where applicable return positioning or chauffeur overnight costs. Nothing appears on the invoice that was not on the quote.

Long journeys and chauffeur hours

Chauffeurs are subject to hours-of-service limits, and those limits exist for a good reason. Where a journey or a same-day return would exceed them, we will say so and propose a workable alternative — a second chauffeur, an overnight, or a different departure time — rather than accept a booking we cannot run safely.

Questions

City-to-city — frequently asked

Return positioning is a real cost on long-distance work and it is itemised on the quote when it applies, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
