Frequently asked questions
General
Send a quote request with the journey details. We reply with a written quote covering the vehicle class, the timing and the full price. The reservation is confirmed once you accept the quote.
Because an instant price that changes later is worse than no price at all. Until live pricing and dispatch integration are in place, every quote is prepared and confirmed by a person, and the figure we send is the figure you pay.
Advance notice always improves availability and lets us assign the right chauffeur. Same-day and short-notice requests are accepted subject to availability.
Changes go to the contact on your confirmation. Amendment and cancellation terms are stated on your quote before you confirm, so there are no surprises either way.
Yes. Long-distance and city-to-city journeys are quoted individually, with any return positioning itemised on the quote.
The gratuity policy is stated explicitly on every quote so you know before you travel whether anything further is expected.
Washington Dulles (IAD), Reagan National (DCA), BWI Marshall (BWI) and Manassas Regional (HEF), plus other regional and general aviation fields on request.
Journey details are used to deliver the service and are not sold or shared for marketing. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Airport Transportation
The reservation follows the flight. We monitor the schedule from the flight number on file and move the pickup accordingly. Delay handling and any wait-time terms are stated on your quote before you confirm.
Meet-and-greet inside the terminal, curbside pickup and garage pickup are all arranged in advance. Which options are available depends on the airport and the terminal, and the specific meeting point is confirmed in writing before travel day.
Washington Dulles (IAD), Reagan National (DCA), BWI Marshall (BWI) and Manassas Regional (HEF), plus other regional and general aviation fields on request.
Same-day requests are accepted subject to availability. Because chauffeurs are assigned per reservation rather than dispatched from a queue, advance notice materially improves what we can offer.
Private Aviation & FBO Transportation
Only where the airport operator and the FBO authorise it, and that authorisation is theirs to give. We arrange it through the FBO when it is available and agree a confirmed alternative pickup point when it is not. We never guarantee ramp access.
As early as you have it. Tail number, FBO and operator contact let us confirm timing directly with the people who will actually know when the aircraft blocks in.
Yes, and we prefer it. We can confirm to the scheduler and the passenger separately so neither is chasing the other.
We serve the fixed-base operators at Dulles, Manassas Regional and the other capital-region general aviation fields. Tell us the FBO on the request and we will confirm the arrangement with them directly.
Corporate Transportation
Yes. Accounts are opened after a short conversation about volume, billing requirements and who is authorised to book. Terms are confirmed in writing before the first trip.
Send us the requirements and we will tell you plainly which we can meet and which we cannot. We would rather decline a clause than agree to one we cannot honour.
Consolidated billing is available for established accounts. The cycle and the terms are agreed at account setup.
Point-to-Point Transportation
For a single direct transfer, usually yes, because you are not paying for waiting time. For a day with several stops, hourly is normally better value. We will tell you which applies to your journey when we quote it.
Usually. Tell us at booking so the stop is priced and timed properly rather than added at the roadside. Additional stops appear as their own line on the quote.
Included waiting time and the rate beyond it are stated on your quote before you confirm, so there is no ambiguity at the curb.
Hourly Chauffeur Service
Yes. Minimums vary by vehicle class and day of week, and the applicable minimum is stated on your quote before you confirm.
Usually, subject to the chauffeur’s remaining schedule and hours-of-service limits. We will tell you at the time rather than after the fact.
Yes. The vehicle and chauffeur are held for your block, so belongings can stay in the car and there is no waiting for a reassignment between stops.
Government & Diplomatic Transportation
Any contract vehicle, registration or schedule we hold would be listed here with its number once confirmed. We do not claim one we do not hold. Tell us your procurement requirement and we will tell you plainly whether we can meet it.
Yes. Where a detail is present they set the movement and we support it — routes, staging, load points and communications agreed in advance rather than at the kerb.
No. We provide chauffeured ground transportation. We do not offer executive protection, armed personnel or armoured vehicles, and we will say so rather than subcontract a capability we do not hold.
On a need-to-know basis within our operation, and never for marketing. If you require a specific confidentiality undertaking or non-disclosure agreement, provide it during account setup and we will review it.
Wedding Transportation
As early as the date and the venue are fixed. Multi-vehicle availability tightens quickly around peak wedding dates in this region, and an early booking is also what makes a proper site conversation with the venue possible.
Vehicles are presented clean and unmarked. We do not fit ribbons, floral work or signage ourselves, but we will accommodate decoration arranged through your florist or planner where it does not affect the safe operation of the vehicle. Agree it with us in advance.
Yes, and it is usually better that way — one written plan, one coordinator and one set of timings rather than two suppliers each assuming the other has the venue access sorted.
Weddings run late; the plan assumes it. Buffers are built into the timeline openly, and the coordinator holds the vehicles rather than releasing them to another job. Any overtime terms are stated on your quote before you confirm.
Special Event Transportation
As early as the date is known. Multi-vehicle availability in the capital region tightens quickly around major conference weeks, inaugural periods and peak event dates.
Yes. Anything involving more than one vehicle is issued as a written movement plan before the event, and the plan is what we run.
Yes, and we prefer to. Staging positions, load points and access restrictions are set by the venue, and agreeing them directly avoids a plan that cannot actually be executed.
Group Transportation
Group capacity depends on vehicle availability for your date and is confirmed when we quote. Larger movements are built from a mix of vehicle classes and run from a single manifest.
Where the headcount and the luggage fit one vehicle class, yes. Where they do not, we will say so plainly and propose a mix rather than overload a vehicle.
One coordinator, named on your confirmation, who holds the manifest and can actually change it. Not a general dispatch line.
City-to-City Transportation
Return positioning is a real cost on long-distance work and it is itemised on the quote when it applies, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Long journeys are subject to chauffeur hours-of-service limits. Where a journey exceeds them we will say so and propose an alternative rather than accept a booking we cannot run safely.
Yes. Tell us at booking so the stops are built into the timing and itemised on the quote.
Hotel Transportation
Billing arrangements — direct to the guest, to a property account, or posted to the room — are agreed with the property when the account opens. Tell us how your folio process works and we will fit it.
Yes, on an agreed-hours basis. Scope, hours, vehicle class and terms are confirmed in writing before the arrangement starts.
Through the desk or directly, whichever your property prefers. We document one booking route for the team so every shift handles it the same way.
Tell us the journey. We will send a written quote.
Every quote states the vehicle class, the timing logic and the full price before you confirm anything.
